Prayer brings life to all our Charity’s work and objectives. We have a keen desire to have the heart of God in all we do and to see God’s strength, hope and resource at work in youth work and young people’s lives.
We want to give space for those supporting young people in Christian settings to rest in God’s presence, to be refreshed, filled by the Holy Spirit, to worship, hear words from Him and leave feeling rested and further equipped for their roles. We help organise retreats to fit into the rhythm of our youth work roles.
Missional Generation is blessed to be involved in creating spaces for prayerful unity across churches and Christian charities. We facilitate monthly prayer breakfasts in both Leeds and Bradford that are led by Christian youth and children’s leaders from across the cities. These are places where we see people encouraged in their roles, impacted by Biblical reflections and changed by God when we join together in prayer.
We facilitate Leeds and Bradford monthly meetings and work alongside other organisations to help strengthen unity within the cities we occupy. We believe in the importance of united prayer, coming together and listening to God’s heart for what we do. If you are invested in the youth of the city and have a responsibility within a local church or Christian charity, we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch with us.

“The youth leader prayer breakfasts help deepen my faith as I pray for other youth leaders and youth in a safe environment. I come away from the breakfasts enthusiastic for what God can do in the young people in growing their faith”.
“The prayer breakfasts really help me to keep connected with what God is doing amongst young people around the city. It is a great chance to fellowship, tell and hear stories, pray and study together. The breakfasts are always a lovely boost to my faith!”
